Kellie M. Martin, a native of the United States is an American TV and film actress. She is best known for her roles as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher and Lucy Knight on the series ER. Additionally, she's well-known as the main character on the Hailey Dean Mystery. Martin is the daughter of a department store seller and a kindergarten teacher began her career as an actress at age seven when her aunt, who was the nanny of Michael Landon's children assisted Martin land a role in 1982 series "Father Murphy". Following her graduation of Yale University she began to pursue acting with a seriousness and landed roles on the smaller screen as well as on the big. Martin is also an artist and photographer. Being a mom to two kids, she's become the official spokesperson of national for Lupus. She has also been spreading the word about Lupus since the time her younger sister died from the illness at age 19.
